Our history

1973

Our company was founded by Mr. Efrain Gonzalez Basaldua. It was later acquired by Soto family in 1976.

1988

Started our import and export operations.

1992

Opened our facilities in the city of Queretaro; which currently have specific yards for maneuvers, egoba equipment, carriers equipment, trucks, platforms, main offices, dinning room, mechanic garages and wide green areas of more than 100,000 m2 ​​(up to 120,000 sq. yd.).

 

1995

The Nuevo Laredo Terminal was opened.

2002

Operations began in our new yards in San Luis Potosi, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Saltillo.

2005

In 2005 the offices’ expansion was concluded and patios, workshops and a diesel station were constructed, with an approximate surface area of ​​90,000 m2 (107,600 sq. yd.).

2007

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) successfully audited and certified our Security System according to the C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program, which we are incorporated since then.

2012

Pursuing a continuous improvement in our processes, we were certified in the new ISO 9001:2008 regulation by the Mexican Institute of Standardization and Certification (IMNC). This year the company was acquired by Mexico’s Transport Fund (FTM), becoming the largest and more specialized transportation group in Mexico.

2013

For the first time we received the Best Mexican Companies award.

2015

We started operations in the Silao terminal.


We obtained the New Scheme of Certified Companies certificate (NSCC, formally called Authorized Economic Operator), with which we complied with a requirement of the Tax Administration System (TAS) for the safety of the supply chain (in 2016 we obtained the recertification). We started providing the Consolidated Cargo service under our Palex trademark.

2016

Thanks to the growth of our operations in Silao, we relocated our terminal in a wider and more functional site.


We renewed our brand and communication.
